Swayamsiddha - A radio programme is being broadcast through all India radio - A channel. This programme content and creation of script and management of the performance, etc. are organized by SHGPF with the help of member organizations. Swayamsiddha is a popular pogramme for the SHG members to know about many issues related with their lives such as government schemes, their rights, and the organizations where they can approach for any help and assistance, etc. The program was first aired on 1st of May 2005 and has already completed 115 episodes each 15 minutes with grandeur. This year, SHG members were also encouraged to submit stories and the better ones have been have been appropriately recognized. Radio broadcasters have even provided us with the status of the program, which indicates success of the radio programme Swayamsiddha named after the flagship programme called 'Swayamsiddha' of WDU.

SHGPF developed extension materials like Posters, Banner and a comprehensive book-let on WDU's Swayamsiddha project. These materials were prepared in connection with Swayamsiddha project - phase I project and widely distributed and feedback on the usefulness of these materials were very encouraging.
